It's been a long time since I've been active in Deviant Art and there are reasons for this. The biggest reason being college.

Things to touch base on:

-Since my last update earlier this year I have changed my major over to Photography from Film and I can honestly say I'm pleased with this change.

I'll be starting that program soon and to prepare I'll be working with a photographer locally to gain some experience and also as use on my resume.

-In 3DL news, as of the last news post on it, it had split up. Since then it has revamped, and then after adding a new singer and using Chris only as vocals... They realized that their views in music differed.

I had always saw Travis as the one to depend on music and it being his life. It hasn't changed and since then he has informed me that he is starting a new band with a few other new members and he's looking forward to that new challenge. As of now that's all I have been told.

If there is anymore news, I'll let you all know.

-Aside from that, I must report on the fact that I'm going to be removing the stuff from my gallery. Most of the stuff left in here is of my past and something that I've improved greatly with since then.

So basically if you want those, get them saved now. I'll remove them the next time I log on DA.

-Finally, I am sad to bring the news but I no longer have a free schedule. I might be busy for two days and not as busy the next two. I don't always have the spare time to check or post on DA.

The sites I do check barely get checked as it is. In fact, when I logged in here the other day I had 300+ Messages and that was just within a month or so.

I'm a girl with dreams to chase and I'm sorry but that's how it has to be. It is heartbreaking to say that but it is the truth.

What does that mean?
Well quite simply it means that I MIGHT be shutting down my DA account permantely.

Why shut it down when this is an art site?
Another good question. Aside from the fact that I lack enough time to upkeep it, there are other reasons involving the very fact that I no longer see reason to post my work online. Of course unless I do it for fun.

This is because of the fact that the internet is not always generous and I have been thefted from more times than I wanted to be. And the sad thing is, the things I was thefted of were pieces of art that were never considered 'great' in my book.

Something I'd like to point out.

There are a ton of you Deviants that I was very close to and do not mind (when I have time) to view your work and I still do. I just don't faithfully comment due to the busy schedule.

So if you want to keep in touch outside DA with me...

Please send me a note and we'll exchange email addresses or something. We'll get caught up and stay in touch. I'd note you individually but like I said college + work + everything else = sometimes too busy.
